Experience
I was employed as a Writing Tutor by DePauw University's Academic Resource Center from January 2007 until May 2009. In this role, I assisted college students by focusing on all elements of their writing in individualized sessions. Meanwhile, I double majored in Political Science and Religious Studies while minoring in History. In addition to serving as a speechwriter for a Member of Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh during my junior year of college, I have spent considerable time abroad, most notably in Japan and South Africa. It is my belief that these experiences overseas contributed greatly to my success as a student, ultimately having graduated cum laude from DePauw. I am currently employed in Indianapolis and eager for the opportunity to restart what I considered to be an especially rewarding practice of tutoring others in the art of writing.
